Meditation of my Heart
God you know me, you see me
You clothe me and you feed me
No one else could be me
You let your son die to free me
I was created for you purpose
I'm not an act in a circus
I was designed for you service
I am not at all worthless
The world may think I'm nothing
Not worthy of it's loving
But in me you see something
I can be sure of this one thing
Even when I stumble
And your word I at times fumble
When I lose in the rumble
It's just to keep me humble
And when I sit still in the moment
And size up my opponent
The unchanging component
I never alone in it
So in my meditation
I return to my creation
Remember I am a priestly nation
And I rise above the hesitation
Shaking off the shame of sin
The veil was torn so I walk right in
Never to pick it up again
Back in the race, running to win
